DraftWho can use KCP Talent
KCP Talent is for adults only. You must be 18 or older to create an account. You may have one account, and the information you give us must be true. We may ask you to verify your identity before you are paid or can withdraw money.
Your account
Keep your password safe and turn on two-factor sign-in. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
What KCP Talent is
KCP Talent is a marketplace that connects clients and talent. We do not employ talent and we are not a party to the work. A contract is an agreement between the client and the talent; we provide the tools and the payment protection around it.
Payments held by the platform
A client funds a milestone before work on it starts. KCP Talent holds the money (escrow) through our payment provider. It is released to the talent when the client approves the work, when the approval period ends without an answer, or when we decide a dispute. Refunds follow the same rules.
Fees
Talent pay a fee on each payment released to them, and clients pay a fee on top of each milestone they fund. The fees that apply are those shown on the Fees page when the milestone is funded. We will not change the fee on a milestone that is already funded.
Keep payments on the platform
Do not ask for or offer payment outside KCP Talent for work found here, and do not share contact details to avoid fees. This is what protects both sides. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break this rule.
How to behave
No scams, harassment, hate or illegal content. Write honest profiles, proposals and reviews. Do not copy other people’s work and present it as your own.
Disputes
If a client and talent disagree about a funded milestone, either side can open a dispute. We look at the messages and files and decide how the held money is shared. Our decision settles what happens to that money; it does not take away other legal rights you may have.
Your content
You keep the rights to what you post. You allow us to show it as needed to run the service, for example your profile to clients. Only post what you have the right to share.
Suspension and closing
We may hide content or suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. You can close your account at any time once your contracts, disputes and money are settled.
Our responsibility
We work to keep KCP Talent running and safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for the quality of work done by talent or for what clients decide.
Changes and contact
